These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of goods from CCW Baits and Tackle Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Eligibility

Some products sold on this website may be restricted to customers aged 18 or over, including (but not limited to) certain hooks, knives, tools, or bait-related equipment. By purchasing such items, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

We reserve the right to cancel any order where age verification cannot be reasonably confirmed.

3. Products

We supply fishing tackle and bait products, including shelf-life bait and related angling equipment.

Some items may be perishable, refrigerated, or frozen goods. These are subject to additional handling and delivery conditions set out below.

4. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including where:

  • Products are unavailable
  • Payment cannot be processed
  • Delivery restrictions apply

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.

6. Delivery (UK Only)

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.

We aim to dispatch orders promptly; however, delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Perishable, Frozen & Refrigerated Goods

Some products may include shelf-life bait or temperature-sensitive goods.

By purchasing these items, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We are not responsible for spoilage, degradation, or loss of quality resulting from delivery delays outside our control
  • We are not liable where courier delays, failed deliveries, missed delivery attempts, or customer unavailability result in perishing or reduced quality of goods
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive deliveries where required

Refund & Returns Policy

1. Consumer Rights (UK Law)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers purchasing online have the right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving goods.

This applies except where exemptions under UK law apply (including perishable goods, personalised items, and hygiene-sensitive goods where packaging is sealed and unbroken).

2. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns on unused, unopened tackle items only.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of receipt
  • Proof of purchase must be provided

We do not accept returns on:

  • Perishable, frozen, or refrigerated bait products
  • Opened or used items
  • Any hygiene-sensitive or sealed goods once opened

3. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return postage costs
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for lost returns

4. Refunds

Where a return is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Refunds will be issued in accordance with UK consumer law timelines (within 14 days of receiving returned goods or proof of return postage, whichever is sooner)

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. Restocking Fee

We reserve the right to apply a discretionary restocking fee in cases where:

  • Items are returned in less than perfect resale condition
  • Packaging is damaged or incomplete
  • Returns require additional handling or processing

Each case is assessed individually and fairly.

6. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • You must notify us within a reasonable time
  • We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund in line with UK consumer law
  • Return postage costs for verified faulty items may be reimbursed or provided via prepaid label at our discretion

7. Liability Limitation

We are not liable for:

  • Courier delays
  • Loss of quality in perishable goods due to transit delays outside our control
  • Indirect or consequential losses arising from late or failed delivery
